GoBeenThere are a trip planning company with a twist – their unique video-tagging and processing technology allows the user to choose which attractions they would like to visit, all based on videos that have been automatically selected to represent that location. GoBeenThere founders, Asaf Toker and Yosi Golan, are avid travellers themselves and understand that planning a trip can take a lot of time, especially when there are so many resources out there. Their aim was therefore to create a trip planner that is fun, easy, and saves some time!
In order to create a one-stop-shop for trip planning, GoBeenThere want to be able to offer flight search as part of their product, and the Skyscanner API perfectly suits their needs. The global reach of Skyscanner particularly benefits a start-up such as GoBeenThere, and the flexible travel search integration allows for easy incorporation into GoBeenThere. CEO Asaf Toker commented, “The Skyscanner API allows us to generate a complete plan for our users without the hassle of visiting a few sites to choose a flight”.
GoBeenThere have recently launched their beta site, currently available for testing only at www.seevoov.com, and have already received good feedback on the ease of flight choosing and ordering on their site, using the above search controls. They plan to re-launch the full site later in the year, with Skyscanner incorporated from day one.
